Ranma ½ is one of the many strange storylines written by Rumiko Takahashi. Ranma ½ is the story of a young boy named Ranma Saotome who's spent most of his life training with his father Genma. Before Ranma was born his father made wedding arrangements with his childhood friend Soun Tendo. During Ranma's training in the cursed springs of Jusenkyo, China where every spring has it's own curse. His father fell into "the spring of drowned panda" which has a very tragic story about a panda who drowned in the spring many years ago. Now who ever falls in the takes the form of that panda. And Ranma........well..... he fell into "the spring of drowned girl". Now when ever he is splashed with cold water he turns into a she. But on the up side, when she is splashed with warm water she becomes a he again.

After Ranma's training he went back to Japan to see his new fiancé, only to get off on the wrong foot with her. Now he has a tomboy fiancé, 4 guys that wanna kill him, and 3 fiancés that want to marry him and will do anything to do so (some life huh?). Try dealing with that.
